PRODUCT FEATURES
The Solar-powered welding helmet features a special flip-up headband mechanism. When the user lifts the helmet, this mechanism aligns the center of gravity with the user’s head, greatly reducing fatigue in the head and neck for increased comfort during work.
In welding mode, the auto-darkening filter switches from clear to dark in just 1/25,000 of a second. A delay knob allows adjustable time settings from 0.2 to 0.8 seconds for the filter to switch back from dark to clear.
High-performance solar cells provide power, with a 3V lithium CR2032 backup battery. Within 10-15 minutes of stopping work, the power automatically shuts off. Under normal welding conditions, the battery lasts over 5,000 hours before needing replacement by an identical battery.
The helmet fully conforms to related DIN, ISO, EN safety standards as well as ANSI Z87.1-2010.
