We will not file a copy of these terms of sale specifically in relation to your order. We may update the version of these terms of sale on the website from time to time, and we do not guarantee that the version you have agreed to will remain accessible. We therefore recommend that you download, print and retain a copy of these terms of sale for your records.

Please note goods may be ordered and collected in our trade counter stores and paid for by cash or debit/credit card (Chip and Pin) without delivery charges. Please contact your local branch for availability before travelling.

We aim to ship all orders the same day if received before midday, otherwise dispatch will be next working day by our chosen delivery method. Occasionally we are unable to ship on the day the order is received, our standard delivery service will be used when the goods are available for dispatch. Dispatch delays longer than 48hrs will be notified to you.

Standard Delivery to Mainland UK - £5.99 (Excludes Heavy and Bulky items) 

We offer standard delivery to mainland UK (excludes highlands, Islands and Northern Island) for £5.99 (including VAT), although this excludes heavy and bulky packages. The packages will need signing for and will be either shipped by Royal Mail 2nd Class or a Carrier depending on size and weight.

DELIVERIES TO NORTHERN IRELAND, SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS and UK ISLANDS – Request Quote

Unfortunately our couriers, for items over 2kg, charge extra for delivery to the destinations listed at the end of the statement and we will need to quote specifically for your delivery. Please complete your basket and click quote. We will normally provide a quotation within 4 working hours.

You will be under no obligation to accept this quote, smaller packages may not incur extra cost as they can be sent royal mail.

DELIVERIES OF BULKY AND HEAVY ITEMS – Request Quote

Packages over 20Kg or 3 metres in any dimension will require a specialist delivery service and again we will quote specifically for this delivery. Please complete your basket and click quote. We will provide a quotation within 3 working hours.

You will be under no obligation to accept this quote.

BFPO ADDRESSES and INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, BFPO or international addresses at present.

AGE RESTRICTED ITEMS

Age restricted items on our website (Knives, Axes, Scissors etc.) can only be bought in store. Online orders will be sent to Quotation and you will need to present ID and pay for the item in store.

HOW WE PROCESS YOUR ORDER

A confirmation email will be sent when you place your order, followed by second when the goods are dispatched.

We will send a further email when the goods are dispatched, if we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason we will advise you accordingly and promptly refund any payment.

If you are not in when delivery is made a card may be left with contact details for you to arrange another delivery. Should these delivery attempts fail, the goods will returned to us and a full credit for the product will be issued to your account, minus the return delivery charge.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Returns can not be accepted unless agreed within the 14days from date of delivery.

Consumers have extra protections under UK law that Lloyd and Jones Engineers Limited fully comply with.

Consumer – Statutory Rights

Nothing in these terms of sale affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

Consumer – Returns Policy (Consumer Contracts Regulations) Cancelations

As a consumer you may cancel a contract to purchase goods at any time within 14 calendar days after the day you received the relevant goods, unless the goods were personalised goods or goods made to, or modified to, your specification.

If you cancel a contract on this basis, you must inform us in writing (email/post) and return the products with a copy of the original invoice or delivery note to Lloyd & Jones Engineers Ltd, Langton House, 76 Regent Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 1BL (sales@lloyd-jones.com) within 14 days, in the same condition and packaging in which you received them. However, you will be responsible for paying the cost of returning the product to us, and they are returned at your risk, we would advise adequate insurance is obtained.

Goods returned by you in accordance with this Section will be refunded in full via the original method of payment (including the cost of our standard carriage, extra charges for express delivery will not be refunded.. If only part of an order is returned/cancelled then the original delivery charges will not be refund.

If you cancel a contract on this basis and you do not return to the products to us, we may recover the goods and charge you for the costs we incur in doing so.

Similarly, if you return the goods at our expense, we may pass that expense on to you. Please Note refusing delivery may incur us charges – these charges will be deducted from your refund and may be more than the cost of returning the goods by other means open to you.

To return items, the customer is liable for all return shipping costs except in cases where goods are faulty, in which case they will be reimbursed to the customer. Once the goods are received back in our warehouse, a refund will be processed for the goods, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods. Please return goods items in their original packaging (and a saleable condition for a refund) to;
